Streamline operations and boost productivity by using Spectrum™ Mobile as part of your Spectrum™ Construction Suite. Spectrum Mobile automates your paper reporting requirements. Using rugged handheld terminals your supervisors can submit their daily field reporting data faster, easier and more accurately.
Spectrum™ Mobile consists of a PC server application and client software running on Microsoft® Windows Mobile remote devices, laptops or PC workstations. The system can be set up using a wireless network or WAN (Verizon, AT&T) for rapid data delivery, or with batch communications.
Current employee, equipment, quantity and job information from the main office computer is automatically downloaded to your supervisors’ remote devices. On the job, the remote devices are used to quickly and accurately scan employee badges and equipment using bar codes or by selecting data from a scrollable list.
A transaction type is selected from a drop down menu on the remote devices, and the associated prompt buttons for that transaction type will display on the device. Using the integrated scanner, keypad, user-selectable lists or search functions on the remote device, data is entered for each prompt button. The supervisor can view or edit the posted transactions on the remote device before the data is transmitted to the Spectrum Mobile server.

During data synchronization, the information collected in the field is uploaded to the server. New employee and job data, configuration changes, etc., are downloaded to the remote device. Once the information is reviewed, Spectrum™ Mobile can export the collected data to your Spectrum™ Construction Software.
Set up and Configuration
Tailor the system to use your unique operation using the configuration utility to define transaction types, prompt buttons and field names.
Enter optional control settings for each prompt button to:
- Define data entry methods
- Validate entered data with the remote device database
- Set required data entry fields
- Continue to display the same data value in a field after posting
- Auto-fill data
- Auto-post when all required fields are entered
- Allow unknown, non-validated data entry to be posted
Set time collection logic to collect time as either durations or real time. Real time collection records start times and durations as they occur.
Transaction Review
All transaction records uploaded from the remote device to the Spectrum™ server may be reviewed and edited using Spectrum Mobile Approval Processing. Filtering records for viewing by transaction type and by field allow for a variety of ways to analyze data. Selected records are displayed and may be edited or deleted.
Any approval screen can also be printed as a report. Custom reports can be integrated into the Spectrum™ Mobile system.
Software Integration
The Spectrum™ Mobile software integrates seamlessly with Spectrum™ Construction software. To keep all information current, Spectrum™ Mobile automatically synchronizes with Spectrum’s database.
