Crystal MICR Check Printing
What is MICR Check Printing?
Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) characters are the unique symbols and characters printed on the bottom of checks. These characters identify a variety of information including the bank the check is issued from, the account number, the check number, and they are used by your bank to identify the check transaction.
How It Works in Spectrumâ„¢
Using your laser printer, your company name, address, and logo (if available); along with the payee, payee address, and check amount, are printed on blank check stock. At the same time, MICR characters are printed on the bottom of the check using special fonts and magnetized ink.
