SEATTLE, August 14, 2014: Dexter + Chaney, providers of Spectrum® Construction Software, announced their Platinum-level sponsorship of the Construction Financial Management Association’s Lone Star Conference in Round Rock, Texas Sept 25-26. The conference will pull together CFMA chapters from across Texas and surrounding areas and is expected to draw hundreds of construction industry professionals for two days of seminars, educational opportunities and networking events. The conference is open to non-CFMA members as well.
“We’re thrilled to be a Platinum sponsor of the CFMA’s Lone Star Conference and are looking forward to what we know will be an exciting, educational event,” said John Chaney, Dexter + Chaney’s CEO and co-founder. “Dexter + Chaney has been a consistent sponsor and supporter of the CFMA on both the national and regional levels for decades. The organization and their events bring together some of the industry’s best and brightest professionals to share some of the most forward-thinking ideas.”
Educational topics at the conference will include employee recruiting and retention, lien legislation, fraud and emerging technologies. Attendees can earn continuing professional education (CPE) credits and take the CCIFP exam.
Organizers of the Lone Star Conference are encouraging non-CFMA members to attend, with special incentives available for CFMA membership. Conference organizer Jeremy Maxwell said non-members will be able to take part in CFMA activities and learning opportunities, and see the benefits of the CFMA first hand. In addition, non-members who join the CFMA will receive an 18-month membership for the price of 12 months.
“The Lone Star Conference is a great way to expand the breadth of CFMA’s expertise and leadership to more construction professionals, Maxwell said. “Having Dexter + Chaney on board as Platinum sponsor and helping to promote this event has been a significant asset. Their support of, and involvement in, CFMA over the years has been outstanding.”
