If you’ve been out getting some shopping done in the month of December, there’s a chance you may have heard “It’s the most wonderful time of the year” ringing out of the speakers above you. I certainly believe the words of that song to be true. The holiday season is a chance to spend more time with family, as well as a time to reflect on the past year.
As I wandered around and spoke to the Dexter + Chaney family at our holiday party this past weekend, I couldn’t help but think about what a year it has been. We’ve added a lot of new faces this year. Our company is growing, as are many of our clients. It’s all very exciting. It’s a blessing to work with so many great people—the wonderful employees of our Seattle office, our business partners, our technology partners and all of our clients throughout North America. Dexter + Chaney is nothing without the hard work of its employees and its loyal and dedicated customers.
With the recession not far removed, it’s great to see our employees and our customers thriving. There will be ups and downs in any successful venture, and it’s great to see things looking up. I hope you all take some time this holiday season to acknowledge your achievements. It’s through hard work and perseverance that we meet our goals. If you haven’t taken the chance yet, give yourself a pat on the back. After another year of determination and dedication to your businesses, you’ve earned it.
As we begin to wrap up things for the year here in Seattle, I like to bring my positive thoughts on the past year forward into the next. I think about the successes we had, and how we can build upon them. I know 2016 will be another great year for Dexter + Chaney and our customers. As always, we are constantly working to improve our Spectrum® Construction Software. We will continue to utilize the valuable feedback our customers give us, as well as bring new advancements to the table aimed at making their lives easier. As our customers continue to grow, so must we. It’s a challenge I personally look forward to meeting and exceeding.
On behalf of everyone here at Dexter + Chaney, I’d like to wish you all a happy holiday season. I hope you all get to spend some quality time with those close to you, and I hope you enjoy the spirit of the season. Take some time to rest and relax, and do the things you love with the ones you love. Thanks for making 2015 such a special year! We’ll see you in 2016!
