Crystal Reports expert, Thor Kolner, will lead non-software specific training sessions
SEATTLE, May 16, 2012: Construction software provider Dexter + Chaney is pleased to announce the 2012 Report Writing Summer Camp. The series features a Crystal Reports for Contractors course that does not require experience in the company’s Spectrum® Construction Software as a prerequisite and is applicable no matter what business software contractors use.Seminars will take place in San Jose, Calif. (June 19 – 20), Boston, Mass. (June 26 – 27), Seattle, Wash. (July 16 – 17), Nashville, Tenn. (July 31 – Aug. 1) and Phoenix, Ariz. (Aug. 14 – 15).
The focus of the sessions will be on using Crystal Reports writing tools to build construction-specific reports. Key learning objectives include an introduction to Crystal Reports, learning how to access the necessary data, formatting and exporting reports for sharing with colleagues, and applying Crystal and Microsoft Excel® formulas. Each two-day class is structured in a workshop format, complete with fully-configured laptop computers provided for each attendee’s use.
All seminars will be presented by Thor Kolner, Dexter + Chaney’s seminar manager and report-writing specialist. Kolner has been with Dexter + Chaney for over 10 years, providing one-on-one and classroom style training on Crystal Reports, SQL Server, and Microsoft Office to all Dexter + Chaney customers. He specializes in instructing users on developing their own custom financial, operational, and labor reports.
