Dexter + Chaney Makes 'Top 10' In Annual Ranking of Puget Sound Software Developers
Only construction-software developer to make the ranking of software companies based in one of America’s technology hotbeds
SEATTLE, May 14, 2010: Dexter + Chaney (www.dexterchaney.com) has placed in the top 10 in the Puget Sound Business Journal’s annual ranking of Puget Sound software developers, based on 2009 gross revenues. Dexter + Chaney, developer of Spectrum® Construction Software employed by construction companies throughout the United States, placed 10th on the ranking of software companies based in one of America’s technology hotbeds; Microsoft Corporation was first. Dexter + Chaney was the only construction software company to make the listing.
“Since the company’s founding in 1981, we’ve worked closely with our construction-company clients to develop features and capabilities in Spectrum that help them manage their businesses,” said John Chaney, Dexter + Chaney co-founder and president. “When we’re included in a ranking or win an award for Dexter + Chaney’s size or growth rate, we always share the honor with our clients. It’s truly a team effort.”
The Puget Sound Business Journal, a weekly publication of Charlotte NC-based American City Business Journals, Inc., provides in-depth coverage of business in the Puget Sound region. Dexter + Chaney is included in the publication’s Puget Sound software-developer ranking every year, and regularly makes technology-related rankings sponsored by trade publications and other organizations.

Spectrum is built on the best available technology. Dexter + Chaney designed the business processes in Spectrum using PRO-IV. That enables the company to respond quickly to customer needs and thus rank as the technology leader among construction ERP (enterprise resource planning) software developers.
