Manolis Kotzabasakis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Manolis Kotzabasakis serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Viewpoint, joining in August 2015. Kotzabasakis comes to Viewpoint from AspenTech, the world leader in software that optimizes complex production processes for the oil & gas, chemical and construction industries. During his 18 years with AspenTech, Kotzabasakis held several executive positions including Marketing & Strategy, Worldwide Sales Operations and most recently served as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President, Research & Development, where he led the creation of AspenTech's technical/scientific vision and strategy on a global basis.
Kotzabasakis manages and drives Viewpoint’s world-wide operations to best meet the growing and progressive technology needs of the construction and capital projects industries.
Kotzabasakis holds PhD and MSc degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK, and a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. He was an associate professor in Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) in the United Kingdom from 1987 to 1992.
Norbert Orth, Chief Transformation Officer & Vice President of Client Services
Norbert provides strategic guidance and leadership to keep Viewpoint at the head of the pack when it comes to client satisfaction and transformative innovation. He has a long and distinguished 25 year career of executive leadership roles in the software industry, including his most recent tenure as CEO at Dexter + Chaney where he was responsible for all aspects of strategic planning and operational execution for all products and services. He is experienced in leading various customer-facing functions throughout his career, which gives him a deep understanding of the importance of client services and a passion for the benefits digital transformation can provide clients. Norbert holds a degree in business from the University of Washington.
Kelly Lang, Chief Financial Officer
Kelly joined Viewpoint in November 2015 as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for building strong business strategies that drive profitable growth as well as diverse and strategic teams. Kelly brings over 25 years of progressive finance and accounting experience with publically traded, venture-backed, and private equity companies.
Armed with a BA in Business Administration from Seattle University, Kelly began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Price Waterhouse LLP).
Kelly was most recently Vice President and CFO for Tripwire, a high growth international cybersecurity software developer. Kelly has also served as Executive Vice President and CFO at Merix Corporation, and was the VP Corporate Controller and Treasurer at Schnitzer Steel. Over the years Kelly has held a variety of financial management roles including VP of Capital Investments and Business Integration, VP of Finance, and Manager of Strategic Analysis.
Tom McNamara, Chief Revenue Officer
Tom McNamara oversees Viewpoint's global sales force including North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia sales teams. He brings almost three decades of sales experience to the Viewpoint leadership team along with exceptionally strong strategic, analytical and financial skills. He is focused on building high performing sales teams who focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving aggressive business growth.
Tom came to Viewpoint from NAVEX Global, where he spent almost ten years, most recently as Chief Revenue Officer. During his tenure there he designed and implemented the sales coverage model for the company. Prior to NAVEX Global, Tom was with Associated Business Systems for 5 years, and with Xerox for 12 years, in a variety of increasingly responsible Sales Management positions, where he consistently recruited, hired, and retained strong Sales leadership teams.
Joanna Nikka, Chief Human Resources Officer
Joanna is responsible for overseeing and delivering human resource services for the global organization. She comes to Viewpoint from AspenTech where she was responsible for designing and implementing its global organizational management practices. For the past several decades, Joanna has also held multiple executive level HR positions for technology companies such as Analog Devices and Millipore Corporation. Joanna received her BA degree from University College Dublin in Ireland and her MBA from Babson College.
Matt Harris, Senior Vice President of Products
Matt is responsible for driving Viewpoint’s overall product strategy and roadmap, ensuring they address the real-world business issues construction professionals face every day. Matt previously served as VP of Strategy and Corporate Development and was responsible for Viewpoint’s strategic growth initiatives. Before joining Viewpoint in 2011, he lived and worked in Holland and led, as VP and General Manager, the highest growth division at FEI Company, a publicly traded global leader in nanotechnology innovations. Prior to his GM role he helped to reshape FEI’s strategy as its VP of Global Strategy and Business Development. In addition to Strategy, M&A, and Operational executive roles with Planar Systems, and Netscape, he began his career with General Electric in a technical leadership program. Matt has engineering and psychology degrees from Cornell and his MBA from Stanford University.
Maury Plumlee, Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships
Maury has been a member of the Viewpoint team for more than 35 years. He currently serves as a representative to Viewpoint’s most strategic and influential customers, prospects, and industry strategic partnerships.
Prior, Maury was the VP of Marketing, and before that had direct responsibility for North America sales of all Viewpoint product lines, including the company’s flagship product, Vista by Viewpoint. Maury led a team of 60 sales professionals and a growing network of business partners throughout North America and Australia.
Abe Cohen, Senior Vice President of Marketing
Abe Cohen leads the Viewpoint global marketing team across all functions including strategy, branding, advertising, demand generation, events, PR, digital marketing and social media. He brings twenty years of marketing experience to the Viewpoint leadership team and a proven track record of creating innovative programs to increase customer advocacy, increase brand awareness and drive rapid revenue growth in dynamic technology markets.
Abe joined Viewpoint in 2017, previously he was the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Kaufman Hall where he recruited and retained an industry leading marketing and business development team that drove a 400 percent increase in enterprise software revenue growth over five years. Prior to Kaufman Hall, Abe held a variety of marketing leadership roles at IBM, including global leadership for Business Analytics software marketing.
Dan Farner, Vice President of Product Development
Dan oversees Viewpoint’s Product Development and Hosted Operation teams. He is responsible for the company’s engineering, development and testing activities of the ERP, collaboration, mobile, on premises and cloud deployed products.
Twenty-seven years ago, after receiving his Bachelors degree from Western Oregon University, Dan immediately joined Viewpoint (then Bidtek) as a software developer. He has held various product development roles during his many years of service for Viewpoint, including QA/BI Manager, Development Manager and Development Director.
Jennifer Allison, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
Jennifer has extensive experience in both employment and business law with a focus on fostering a business environment where ethics and integrity are held as core values. Most recently, she was General Counsel for Tripwire and was known for achieving results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, providing solutions-oriented legal advice and collaborating with Sales and Finance teams to ensure timely and predicable revenue recognition. Prior, Jennifer was Assistant General Counsel and Director of Corporate Compliance & Human Resources at EthicsPoint (now Navex Global) where she helped establish the first in house legal department for the start-up software company.
Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Portland State University and her Juris Doctorate from Lewis & Clark Law School. During Law School, she focused primarily on employment law and had the honor of clerking for Justice R. William Riggs at the Oregon Supreme Court.
